These days when eatables are adulterated, why not cosmetics products, we have seen many brands available in market for rose water, but most of all of them have parabens, and parabens are big eniemes for skin.

Well, now are you not sure how good the rose water bought off the shelves actually is? Here’s an easy DIY recipe to make rose water at home. All you need is some beautiful fragranced rose petals and distilled water or filtered water

Benefits of Rose water:

♥ Perfect for skin toner

♥ Can be used on hair as a spray for good conditioning.

♥ Can be used as  makeup remover

♥  Rosewater helps maintain the skin’s pH balance, and also controls excess oil

♥ Due to its antibacterial properties, rose water also aids in healing scars, cuts and wounds

♥ The aroma of roses is said to be a powerful stress reliever.

♥ The scent of rose water on your pillow also helps you sleep better after a long day, making you wake up refreshed.

♥ It also works as anti-ageing element.

Things you’ll need to make rosewater:

♦ Clean red rose petals with a good fragrance.

♦ Ice cubes and tissue paper

♦ Aloe vera gel

♦ A Pot/basin with a lid

♣ Place one small bowl inside the pot by making some space in the middle, so that rose water gets collected in there, and then cover the pot with a lid upside down while boiling and simmer on a low flame. The water should be steaming hot not boiling hot.

♣ While its boiling place some ice cubes on top of lid, while the ice is melting just wipe/collect the water using tissue paper, this will help in condensation inside.
